Trivia: I have been playing music since I was a young child. I started the guitar around sixth grade and started the piano in High School. I attended Cal State Fullerton as a music education major but moved to the computer industry. Since about 1981, I have been working with computers as my day job while I write songs at night. As you can see from my list of musical influences, my taste in music is wide. For years, I played in rock bands playing music like Rush and Saga. Now I find myself writing the music that has always been in my heart. For those members of my old band Trauma, I sometimes write the harder music but I have come full circle.

Music is my first love but you have to pay the bills while you wait for that one song to be your big break. So, my other passion is working with people. Public speaking, teaching and the art of teaching someone something new. has always been a passion of mine. While in college my goal was to be a teacher. Now after many years of working in the computer industry I have found my passion again and that is education. I manage a training department for Encore Discovery Solutions where among other things I train lawyers, attorneys and other legal professionals on a variety of litigation software and create material for employee education. My other responsibility is training the internal staff which I find to be very exciting I am a adamant believer in "people are your number one asset in any company" and that you must grow your people in order to succeed. Being part of that growth of people is a privilege, right and extremely rewarding.
